A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO I talked about how generosity brings loyalty. Well, it’s time to take this to the next level!
Employees who are loyal stick around. OK, that’s pretty basic; it’s kind of the definition of “loyal.”
Why do they hang with you through good times and bad? Because they figure they’re doing something valuable, and they enjoy it.
MASSAGE THERAPY is an interesting field. Despite having been around for many decades (and in the East, centuries), it’s still breaking into peoples’ awareness.
Yet it’s such a powerful addition to creating a healthy life.
I’ve been talking with Becky Garcia, who heads up Garden of Healing Massage Therapy here in Windsor. And I’ve had a chance to peek behind the scenes of the creation of her heart-centered service.
A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO I talked about how gratitude yields generosity. But that’s not the end of the game by any means.
Generosity also brings results, one being loyalty. When you’re generous, people think more highly of you. They want to work with you more.

THIS WEEK I had the wonderful opportunity to spend some quality face-to-face time with one of my key partners. It was the best investment I could have possibly made in defining the future course of our partnership.
On the surface, the work we were doing was about tasks and projects and how this would add value to both of our companies.
The greater joy, though, came from our understanding of each others’ values and goals. Despite having worked together for five years, we each learned a great deal by meeting up in person and taking substantial time to talk about that non-task stuff.
THERE IS A SAYING in computer geekdom: “Garbage in, garbage out.” Meaning that you can’t expect great results when you’re starting with junk.
The human mind works the same way. And it explains how easy it is for people to get caught in cycles of despair and hopelessness. If you don’t have hope coming into your life, it’s hard to imagine how you can have hope for a better future.
HAPPY LUCKY’S TEAHOUSE is a little shop in downtown Fort Collins. They have the largest tea selection in Colorado, as displayed on their ever-growing “Great Wall of Tea” alongside teapots, accessories, and silk scarves.

FEAST OF ALL SAINTS in the Catholic faith. It’s a remembrance not only of named and recognized saints, but all who have achieved eternal life – whether we know them or not.
It’s a great time to ponder the ultimate purpose of what we’re doing here.
