We are incredibly lucky, even despite all the annoyances and challenges.

I know it can be hard to maintain this attitude, because we’re always looking for problems. Places where things need to be fixed and we’re needed.

But let’s take just a moment to relax in the space of gratitude.

I’m so glad for the people who I get to work with. They brighten my days.

I get to have some remarkable people as clients. They keep me on my toes and I can see my impact on the world.

My family is wonderful. Not perfect, but I love each of them to death. They accept me for who I am.

My career – over 55 years now – has been an incredible journey. It built who I am today, and I had the chance to be a part of amazing things.

It’s great fun to exercise my creativity – in my writing, my musical work, my projects. I wake up challenged each day.

My Rotary world is absolutely amazing. We’re actually working to make this community better, and the entire planet.

I hope you’re able to find sources of gratitude as well!
